Western Pleasure

Western pleasure is a class A show discipline that emphasizes the recreational characteristics of western horses. In general, a western pleasure horse is judged primarily on whether or not it looks like it is a pleasure to ride. Above all, a western pleasure horse should have smooth gaits, should be controllable on a loose rein, and should be very well-mannered.
