Halter
Halter is one of the few equestrian disciplines where the horse is judged on physical merits alone. Though rules vary from breed to breed, in general, a halter horse must be an excellent representation of his or her breed’s conformation. Halter is a riderless class, and participants must stand for judging with the head and legs positioned in a precise manner (dictated by the standards for that particular breed).
