Driving

Driving is a general term used to describe a variety of different harness sports. A driving event can include one or more horses pulling a two or four-wheeled carriage. Driving trials may test speed and stamina, control around obstacles and natural hazards, or the simple beauty of the horse and carriage. Harness racing is another popular driving sport, which encompasses everything from traditional two-wheeled sulky and four-wheeled scurry racing to the wilder chuck-wagon races of the modern rodeo.
